Objective:

The course aims to teach participants how system is architecture, operate controlled and engineered with Freelance 2000 system. Upon completion of this course, they will be able to state the function of main system components and will have an understanding of the fundamentals of plant operation, maintenance and configuration engineering.

Location: Adico Training Center (ATC) / Costumer Site

  • Installed Freelance 2000 full option V9.1 With Windows XP SP2 OS
  • CBF (Control Builder F), the engineering tool for AC800F

Pre-requisites and Recommendations

  • There are no formal requirements for this course, but familiarity with using computers and a basic knowledge of process control and plant processes would be an advantage.

  • Discuss the layout and architecture of a DSC
  • Discuss the feature and capabilities of the system
  • Discuss the hardware devices
  • Discuss how data is exchanged between different devices in the system
  • Discuss the different types of operator interfaces
  • Carry out simple console operations
  • Discuss the principles of diagnostics, repair and maintenance
  • Discuss the principles of configuration engineering, including controller operation, databases and graphics
