Objective:

This course uses chapters and hands-on workshops to provide an in-depth overview of the DeltaV Operator Interface.

Course Duration: 3 Days

Location: Adico Training Center (ATC)

  • 6 Nos. PC (5 OP+1 EWS) connected to TCP/IP Network
  • Installed DeltaV Rev. 8.03 full option With Windows XP SP2 OS
  • Complete DeltaV hardware included Redundant MD Controller and Power Supply included all types IO
  • Complete Pilot Plant Equipped with all type loops (P, T, F, L)

Prerequisite:

  • Windows Experience
  • Process Control Experience

Contents Topics:

  • Working with DeltaV Operator Toolbar
  • Working with buttons, faceplates, details and other common tasks in graphic pages
  • Working with Process Histories, Events, Trends, Alarms of system
  • Operating Different types of modules such as Analog/Digital monitoring, Manual
  • Commands, PID loops, Tuning, Motor/Valve Blocks, Interlocks, Sequences and etc.

After taking this course, Student must be able to:

  • Discuss navigating in windows
  • Identify the toolbar Area in Graphic interface plus describe the functions of each button and working with these buttons
  • Identify the working area
  • Identify the alarm banners and working with alarm pages and related actions for alarms
  • Operating events, trends and process histories.
