Objective:

This course is designed to provide participants with an overall under standing of CENTUM CS3000 hardware, maintenance procedure, Maintenance tools, Device Management Tool and its functions to operate/monitor Fieldbus devices, configure the National Instruments PCI and PCMCIA-FBUS Board and the NI-FBUS software (communicator and configurator).

Existing Hardware / Software:

• 6 Nos. PC's (5HIS+1EWS) With WinXP SP2 OS
• Installed Yokogawa Centum CS3000 R3.08 and Device Management Tool (DMT) Software
• FCS type AFV10D with all type IO connected to ProsafeRS via Vnet/IP network and Engineering station
• NI-FBUS PCI and PCMCIA Hardware and Software
• Complete Segment with FF Devices and Field Barriers
• Complete Pilot Plant Equipped with all type loops (P, T, F, L)

Participants:

• Technicians and Engineers who responsible for Fieldbus Engineering, Configuration  and modification of fieldbus device parameters.

Prerequisite:

• Fieldbus Fundamental
• Engineering CS3000

After taking this Course the Trainee will be able to do:

•   Work with CS3000 System hardware which includes Controllers, Cards, Power Supplies, Stations, Network
•   Diagnose fault conditions in hardware & network, identify and solve problems in Hardware
•   Can do maintenance software works which includes control strategy and graphic Interface
•   Manage, monitor and maintain the field bus devices (sensors, positioners, analyzers, etc.) connected to the Foundation fieldbus as well as display and change their parameters.
•   Installation and Configuration NIFBUS
•   Maintenance & Managing FF Parameters
